Horta da Moura, in Monsaraz, announces the opening of a new restaurant

Horta da Moura, a historic hotel located just outside the medieval village of Monsaraz, has just announced the opening of its new restaurant: Sítio da Moura, a venue that celebrates the authenticity of Alentejo cuisine, featuring traditional dishes with a signature twist.

Under the leadership of Chef Maria Antónia Batista Martins, Sítio da Moura presents a menu inspired by the flavors of yesteryear, creatively reinterpreted using carefully selected regional ingredients.

The restaurant will feature unique dishes, with traditional recipes and a commitment to seasonal ingredients, promising an authentic experience that honors the culinary identity of the Alentejo.

The restaurant will be open not only to guests of Horta da Moura but also to the general public, inviting all visitors to Monsaraz to discover this new space for gathering, flavor, and tradition.

The Sítio da Moura restaurant is not pet-friendly, unlike the Horta da Moura Hotel, where the restaurant is located, which is pet-friendly, allowing guests to bring their pets along.

The official opening takes place this Saturday, December 13, marking the beginning of a new culinary chapter at the Horta da Moura estate.
